How it works
PRP Injections for sexual health are commonly referred to as the P-shot, for men, and the O-shot for women. In each case we are doing an injection of your own platelet rich plasma into the treatment area.
A PRP injection into your penis or specific parts of the vagina can help increase blood flow and catalyze your body’s natural healing properties. You can experience an increase in libido, more ability to get and maintain an erection, or even combat dryness of the vagina.
PRP starts with us drawing some of your own blood. We then spin the blood in a centrifuge to separate the blood cells with the plasma. The plasma is full of your blood’s own platelets which contain natural healing properties. By injecting the PRP into specific areas, we are telling your body to pay more attention to this area, and even to repair anything that may be damaged. It is a simple and safe treatment that we can do right here in our office.
